Students:
This is how you will create and setup your Weebly website- this should take no more than 2 days to create.
Study this example website for a few minutes before you continue.
This is how your SmartLab website should be designed and organized. Your website can have different colors and theme and different pictures, but the basic layout elements and organization should be the same as the example!

Home Page
When you first create your site, you will have a "Home" page.
- You can change the look (color or theme) of your website by clicking "Theme" at the top and changing styles until you find one you like. Be sure to pick a good one (easy to read) - if you change it later, you might lose some of the things you've added.
- Change the picture! If you hover your mouse over the picture, you will see an orange button that says "Edit Picture... click "Edit Picture". In the top left corner, you'll see "Add Picture." You can upload a picture from our computer, or find an image on the internet and copy and paste the URL (www....). You can also add text, or delete the picture and fill it with a background. Play with this until you've experimented with a couple different ways to add pictures and found the one you like.
- Add a description of what your site will be about. Click along the left side, and drag a "Title" element onto the page. An blue bar will show you where it's going to go. Click where is says "click here to edit" then add a title. Drag over a "text" element then write a description below it to tell people what your site is about.
- example: " Welcome to our STEM lab website. We will be posting a blog about what we do every day and sharing pictures and videos of what we are working on in STEM Lab. Check back often to keep up to date."
